Pupdoku Terms of Service

01Eligibility and permitted use

Pupdoku is for teens aged 13 and older and adults. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, use the service with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian and obtain their authorization before making purchases. Do not use the service if you are under 13.

You may use Pupdoku for personal, lawful entertainment under these terms and the applicable app license. Protect your email account and sign-in codes. Do not misuse invitations, harass others, distribute unlawful content, bypass purchase or hint checks, interfere with the service, automate deceptive challenge results or manipulate standings. Nothing here restricts rights that applicable law expressly permits, including any non-waivable interoperability rights.

02Free puzzles and included hints

All puzzles and progress saving are available free. Advertising is disabled in this release for everyone. No subscription is needed to play the puzzle collections, the casual Daily brain break or available online challenges. Online features, cloud saving and purchase verification require an internet connection.

Each casual attempt includes one explained hint for free players. An active Pupdoku+ subscription includes three total explained hints per casual attempt, not three additional hints and not unlimited hints. An included hint is used when its explanation is revealed, whether or not you apply the suggested move. Undo does not refund it. Restarting begins a new attempt and resets the included allowance; unused included hints do not accumulate or become treats.

Ranked Daily challenges and no-hints friend challenges do not allow hints, including paid hints. Separately identified practice and the casual Daily brain break follow casual hint rules. Choosing practice does not restore the ranked eligibility of an earlier attempt or satisfy the original no-hints challenge.

03Pupdoku+ subscriptions and billing

Pupdoku+ is an optional auto-renewable subscription with monthly and annual plans providing the same hint benefit. The current US prices are US$1.99 per month and US$9.99 per year. Prices and availability vary by App Store country or region. The localized full price, billing period and any eligible offer shown in the app and Apple's purchase confirmation apply to your purchase; US pricing is not a promise of an equivalent price elsewhere.

The monthly plan has no introductory free trial. A three-day free trial may be offered on the annual plan only where that exact offer is available and Apple confirms your eligibility. If an eligible trial is offered, the annual subscription begins charging at the displayed full annual price when the trial ends unless you cancel in time. Without an eligible trial, payment is charged to your Apple Account upon purchase confirmation. Unused trial time may be forfeited if you purchase a subscription where Apple's rules provide for this.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription or trial period. Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends, at the renewal price shown by Apple. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Pupdoku. Cancelling normally stops future renewal and leaves paid access available until the current paid period ends; Apple may end trial access sooner when a trial is cancelled. Apple's confirmation and subscription screen show the applicable status and dates.

Deleting Pupdoku, signing out, or deleting a Pupdoku email account or guest profile does not cancel an Apple subscription. Restore purchases checks eligible subscription access using your Apple Account. Refund requests can be made through Apple's Report a Problem service and remain subject to Apple's process and applicable law. These terms do not remove statutory refund or consumer-guarantee rights.

04Hint treats and purchase recovery

Additional hint treats are optional one-time consumable purchases, separate from Pupdoku+. The packs contain 10 treats or 35 treats; current US prices are US$0.99 and US$2.99 respectively. Your local App Store purchase screen shows the applicable price. One treat provides one additional explained hint when hints are permitted and the included allowance is used up. Treats do not override a no-hints rule.

Treats have no cash value, cannot be transferred or redeemed for money, and do not expire on a timer. The balance is stored on the current device, not in email cloud saves. Previously earned treats are retained. Do not rely on consumed purchases or the device-local balance transferring to a different device or being recoverable after deleting and reinstalling the app. Cancelling Plus does not itself remove saved treats.

Purchase recovery checks eligible verified transactions and avoids crediting a purchase twice. It cannot promise to recreate a balance that may already have been used. If Apple has charged you but Plus or treats are not yet confirmed, use Check Plus access, Restore purchases or Check hint purchases and contact support if needed. Do not buy again to resolve delayed access or missing credit. Pending parental approval is not a completed purchase.

05Saves and online challenges

Casual play saves locally. Optional email sign-in provides a separate cloud backup for supported progress. Cloud saves do not transfer hint balances, purchases, app preferences or full ranked attempts. Review any conflict or recovery prompt before replacing progress. Signing out retains downloaded local progress and the server backup; account deletion is a separate action. No storage system can guarantee recovery from every device, network or service failure.

The public Daily challenge uses a UTC day, first-attempt eligibility, no hints and a continuous server clock. The clock continues during interruptions until completion is confirmed. Connectivity, a day change or invalid results can affect submission or eligibility. Standings show eligible results under generated guest names. We may investigate abuse and correct or remove invalid results. Pupdoku challenges do not offer cash prizes, wagers or transferable rewards.

06Invitations and shared content

Invitations share a puzzle code and challenge rules, including an optional target time. Anyone who receives a valid code may be able to open the invitation in the app. Share codes only with the people you intend to invite. Invitations do not support personal messages; submit only content you are entitled to share, without sensitive personal information or unlawful material.

The app does not automatically send a friend's result back to you. Players choose whether to share results through their device's sharing services. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We cannot recall copies, screenshots or links already received by others. Report misuse to support@ignitexgroup.com.

07Ownership and app license

The Pupdoku software, Doki artwork, visual design and other original service materials belong to Ignitexgroup LLC or their respective licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of them. You may use the app's built-in sharing features for personal sharing; other reproduction, sale or redistribution requires permission unless otherwise permitted by law.

Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app license where applicable. These service terms supplement it and do not replace Apple's purchase terms or mandatory local law. Apple is not the provider of Pupdoku's customer support; contact Ignitexgroup LLC for app-related assistance.

08Service changes, responsibility and disputes

We work to maintain a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted online availability, error-free results or recovery of every save. We may update features or restrict access reasonably necessary to address security, unlawful activity or material breaches of these terms, subject to applicable notice requirements and remedies for paid services. Feature changes do not remove rights you have already acquired under mandatory law.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes non-waivable consumer guarantees, liability for fraud, or other rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. In particular, statutory protections applicable to consumers in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United States remain available where they apply. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver or an exclusive foreign court on you.

Please contact support about a dispute so we can investigate. You may also use any complaint, court or alternative dispute-resolution process available under applicable law. We will communicate material changes to these terms and obtain agreement where required.
